Celine Abi Habib Kanakri is a distinguished practitioner in international arbitration with over 20 years of experience. She has been based in the UAE but her experience spams across the GCC, including KSA and Qatar.
Having worked with leading regional and then international law firms, she recently joined BLK Partners, as Partner and Regional Head of the Dispute Resolution Practice covering the GCC.
She specializes in commercial and construction International Arbitrations and ADR. Celine not only acts as counsel in complex arbitration and cross-border litigations cases but also sits as an arbitrator on high-profile cases with leading institutions, such as the ICC, the LCIA and DIAC.
Celine has also contributed in drafting numerous laws and rules in the UAE including the DIAC Arbitration Rules and the ADGM Arbitration Guidelines.
