Marwan Sakr is a member of the Beirut and Paris Bars, a Fellow of the CIArb and a Chartered Arbitrator. He also practices before the DIFC Courts, the QFC Courts and the ADGM Courts and has appeared before the ECtHR in arbitration and economic law related matters. He has acted as counsel, chair of tribunal, arbitrator and expert witness in more than 100 international proceedings under more than 45 laws, jurisdictions and arbitration rules. He is a certified specialist in International, European and Arab laws by the French National Council of the Bar (CNB). He is a member of the ICC Commission on Arbitration and ADR, the EU list of chairpersons for Arbitrations under EU trade agreements, the ICSID panel of conciliators and a trustee of the LAMC.
